It’s that time of year again! FALL, my favorite time of year… and home to my birthday month 🙂 Seriously I love Fall, there is something about that crisp air, all things pumpkins, and the fashion!!!

Top Shop Sweater, Levis Wedgie Fit Jeans, Anine Bing Moto Booties

PLT top, Rag & Bone Jeans, Chloé Boots

I am so fortunate to live in the DC area as we have a true Fall season. Give me all the chunky sweaters, boots, and jackets. My go-to look especially when running after the twins is an oversized sweater, high waisted ripped jeans, either my Doc Martens or another pair of my favorite boots. Oh! Add in a pair of chic sunnies to complete my look.

Fall Trends 2019

I am loving the fall trends I am seeing so far this year. Belted jackets, pops of neon, animal print, all pieces I am totally down with. I have been going through my closet (tour coming soon) and pulling all the classic pieces that I put into rotation around this time every year. I wanted to share with you guys some pieces that I can’t live without, that I feel are truly some of my best purchases. Some of them have a higher price tag, but you will get your money’s worth I promise.

Astr Jacket, REDONE Jeans, Kendall & Kylie Booties
Zara Coat, Rag& Bone Jeans, Stuart Weitzman Booties

It’s important to me to have investment pieces, but also to be able to mix those with more affordable brands. Especially if it’s something that is just trending for the season. I will share with you guys the favorites that I already have, and also link some items I have in my cart for this season. I hope this will save you some time, and energy endlessly searching for the perfect fall looks this season.

Burberry Trench, Cotton Citizen Dress, Celine Booties

Favorite Fall Fashion

Wolford Bodysuit– Okay, I know this price tag is hard to swallow, but it’s so worth it. Before I first bit the bullet and finally got it, I kept thinking to myself “will I really wear this ,that often??”Answer – Ummm, yes! Literally, I wear it all the time. It’s so comfortable, pairs with any outfit, and is the definition of the perfect layering piece. I could go on and on. One of my favorite investment pieces that I recommend 1000 percent.

Oversized sweaters, and cardigans– I live in these in the Fall/Winter. I will pair them with black skinnies or high waisted ripped jeans, throw on some cute booties and I am off.

Some of my faves:  Free People, Top Shop, Zara, & Anthropologie are good places to find them.

Spanx faux leather leggings– These are a holy grail. Oh my do they hold everything in, and they are super flattering. I love that you can’t see through them, and they don’t do any weird faux-leather creasing. So many leggings are see-through, you feel like everyone can see your butt. Not these, they are perfect! I am not kidding. I wear them so much that last year I bought THREE pairs. Just incase they stop making them or something haha. (Tip: they are typically on the Nordy anniversary sale so stock up while you can)

Boots/Booties- You guys know I love me some booties, particularly moto ones. You can’t go wrong, in my opinion. I love pairing them with sweater dresses in the fall. I like them in all ways, over the knee, ankle, a little bling, snake print – you name it – I’ll rock it.

Some of my favorite brands:  All Saints, Rag & Bone, Stuart Weitzman, Anine Bing

Free People Military Coat

Jackets- There are so many trends this fall, capes, classic trench, and belted jackets… to name a few. For me, one that will never go out is the classic leather jacket. It is the number one ultimate piece to invest in. If you get a good one, that fits perfectly, you will use it every year. I love it because it simultaneously adds a splash of class and gives some edge to your look. You can take a look from day to night effortlessly. Take your time with this one. Find the PERFECT fit – don’t be scared to spend a little more – it will last forever if you do.

Happy Shopping!

XO Courtney
