Reading is something Ava & Nahla have always loved. I attribute it to reading to them since they were only a few months old. It was part of our routine, we always read before nap times, and before they would go to sleep at night. It’s something we all look forward to, and is so important for their development. Even when they would want the same story over, and over, literally like a billion times, I couldn’t say no. It was so cute how attached they would be to certain books. Now, at 4 years old, they can actually read a couple books to me purely from their memory. (They can’t read yet) but how cool is it that we have read them so many times, and now they can repeat it on their own.
